Our church is much more than just the Sunday morning worship services. We offer a multitude of activities for children and adults at various times during the week.
We offer a nursery area for infants and toddlers that is adjacent to the sanctuary so parents are only steps away from their children as they drop them off with our trained staff of childcare workers.
Workers provide dependable care so parents may enjoy a worry free worship experience. A restroom and changing table are available in the nursery area.
Children will enjoy beginning the worship service with their parents for the music portion of the adult service. Especially enjoyable is the special Children's Message each week and the time with Pastor Carl and others as they bring Biblical principles alive with objects and stories that will entertain all ages. After the Children's Message, the elementary age children go to their own worship service tailored to their age group.
Sunday School classes are offered at 9 AM on Sunday for each age group where children learn about the Bible and God's love for us.
Each year we also have several special programs geared to our elementary age group. These include Vacation Bible School each summer as well as Christmas programs and other special events to help make being involved in church fun, and help the children develop their faith.

As we are affiliated with multiple denominations, we support many missions, both domestic and foreign through these denominations. Our Women of the Church help with many of these denominational missions, whether it is by rolling bandages or filling shoeboxes with personal items. As a church we support many local missions: food pantries, school supplies, and Christmas gifts for needy families just to name a few. We also have selected some individuals to support, some working with large mission groups, others working independently. Here is a sample of the missions and ministries we support.
Haiti Health Ministries was the destination for our mission trip in 2008. Our group was blessed as they ministered to the patients who came to the clinic. Visit haiti Health Ministries
Paul and Ellie Madsen are teachers in Hungary. They also work with students and have a great ministry with the high school students they teach. Paul and Ellie are working with RCE International. Get the latest updates here
Steve and Linda Walters work with the Navigators in their micro loan program in Africa. Each year Steve takes several businessmen to African nations to teach business skills and strategic thinking to recipients of the loan program. If you have business skills, you may be eligible to travel on one of these trips. Since the recipients are college educated and speak English, this is one of the more non threatening trips to take. You may contact Steve and Linda here
Greg and Vicki Stout work with Safe Water International Ministries (S.W.I.M.) building and delivering small, hand held chlorinators to small villages in many countries. These life saving devices open a path to bring the gospel, the eternal life saver! You may visit their website here
We have the honor of having several Christian Camps to work with and each one has its own unique style of ministry and facility. We support all of these camps as a church and send youth and adults to activities at each one. Camping isn't just for kids in the summer anymore, as there are family activities scheduled throughout the year at each of these camps.
Camp Calvin Crest is our Presbyterian Camp and it is located in the bluffs overlooking the Platte River near Fremont. You can access their website here

Project Loves and Fishes was begun by a few men deciding to provide a free meal for our community. since they overpurchased food for the first meal, they decided to offer a second. Individuals donated enough money for them to buy more food for more meals and within the first year over 5000 free meals had been served within our community. The meals continue and are served at the community building on Sunday nights from 5-6:30 PM.
Care-A-Van is a local transportation ministry begun through our church then spun off into its own seperate entity. Care-A-Van, Inc. provides free transportation to the elderly and disabled of western Douglas County. Most of the trips are to medical appointments but it also takes a bus trip twice a month to the Wal Mart in Fremont. Though we have no formal relationship with Care-A-Van, many of the volunteer drivers are from our church and they use our facilities for office space and to park vehicles. Our pastor and several members of our church are on the Care-A-Van board. To volunteer or if you need a ride, please call 402 359-8634 or email Care-A-Van at careavan01@yahoo.com
Community Garden plots are available to members of the community at large and are located on land behind the church building at the corner of West Street and Valley Street. Please contact the church office to reserve a plot for next year.
